Love Pathology

Definition: is a state of variable emotional disorder (acute exacerbations on top of a stable chronic state)
Aetiology: 
Predisposing factors: loneliness causing low immunity, accumulation of romantic movies or stories.
it's main cause is still unknown.
Pathogenises:
Acute phase: transient sensory-induced sympathetic discharge.
Chronic phase: idiopathic hormonal change.
Morphological change:
During acute phase: classic sympathetic stimulation symptoms: restlessness, anexity,insomnia, hypertention, tachycardia, dyspnea, tremors and heart failure with arrhysmia in severe cases.
During chronic phase: no clear symptoms other than CVS, the sympathetic discharge stops resulting in rebound bradycardia, the blood pressure returns normal, high cardiac output due to increased venous return.
Complications:
acute phase may complicate to hypertensive crisis
chronic phase may complicate to euphoria, daydreaming, hallucinations and complete loss of logic.
Diagnosis:
1-Mydriasis of eye even in sun light.
2-Songs fever.
3-Hyperreflexia.
Treatment: 
Preventing the predisposing factors and supportive treatment of symptoms are the only line of treatment.
